The Zhuyuan Bamboo Garden Guesthouse is a classical Chinese garden style structure in a quiet lane west of the Drum Tower in Beijing. The guesthouse was formerly the residence of Sheng Xuanhuai, the Minister of Post of the late Qing Dynasty 1644 1911 . It is also said to be the garden of Li Lianying, a noted eunuch of the Qing Dynasty. Since the late Qing Dynasty, many celebrated Chinese people, including Ma Hansan, Dong Biwu, and Kang Sheng had lived in this guesthouse.
